Apple is continuing its preparations for the iPhone 17 series, set to be unveiled in 2025, at full speed. Reports suggest that the American tech giant plans to retire the Plus model, which has reportedly underperformed in sales, and replace it with the Slim model, designed to captivate attention with its thin profile. In fact, recent developments hint that this new phone could make history for the brand.
iPhone 17 Slim: Claimed to Be the Thinnest iPhone Yet
As the name implies, the iPhone 17 Slim is expected to stand out for its slim design. However, according to the latest leaks, there’s more to it. If the rumors are true, the smartphone will boast a thickness of just 6 mm, making it the thinnest iPhone model ever.
Currently, the company’s thinnest phone is the 6.9 mm thick iPhone 6. But with the release of the 17 Slim, this record could be broken. Of course, it’s important to note that these are just leaks, and waiting for an official announcement is always more reliable.
Details about the iPhone 17 Slim remain limited. However, leaks and reports from trusted sources suggest that the device will feature a 6.6-inch display and be powered by the Apple A19 chipset. Given that the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max are expected to use the Apple A19 Pro chip, the Slim model is unlikely to come with an exorbitant price tag.
